Belfast Mic Tours

Hi I’m Donal Kelly, born and bred in Antrim Town, but since 1990 I have lived and worked in Belfast.

My back round was Aerospace for 17 years, I  then re-retrained as an Outdoor Activities Instructor in the Mourne Mountains for several years before joining the Titanic Belfast Visitor Experience Team in 2012.

In 2016 I launched my own range of guided experiences under the title of ‘Belfast Mic Tours’, initially starting with a guided cycle tour of Belfast, I now also offer a range of guided walking, cycling and step-on coach guided experiences in Belfast, Antrim and the Causeway Coast.

I was also the first tour guide in Belfast to offer a radio system as standard on all my guided walking/cycle tours which allows me to walk/cycle and talk and also allows for safe distancing.

I have a passion for history, especially Belfast maritime and industrial and indeed the social history of Belfast and N. Ireland.

 I also love meeting people and finding out their stories as well as sharing our local stories with visitors from near and far.
